Garnet's Bio: Garnet started to learn how to handicap as a very young boy when his dad would take him to Woodbine Racetrack and Greenwood Raceway. Although Garnet dabbles in wagering on all breeds, he spends most of his time handicapping, betting and watching harness races. As the Daily Racing Form's public handicapper for the Woodbine/Mohawk circuit, Garnet has developed quite a following of gamblers who regularly consult his selections. Garnet finished 25th in the 2013 World Harness Handicapping Championship at The Meadowlands. Garnet recently got into horse ownership as he and his wife Kim and son Nicholas purchased 15% of pacing filly Vintage Blues, who should be starting her racing career at Mohawk Raceway later this summer. Garnet is also a freelance journalist that regularly produces features for various publications on handicapping and also about people from the harness racing industry.
